Hi all,
Good afternoon. Here I just want to ask for some questions about OBA. Do you have OBA procedure in company? How does it define this procedure? Where does it occur? Before W/H, or after W/H? I just mean that the finished goods are sent into W/H. Do you have FQC, OQC and other inspection function? How about your sampling rate or level? And OBA? Do all need to follow MIL-STD-105E LEVEL II, or toher sampling method? Thank you!

OBA or OOBA: Out of Box Audit.出货前的开箱检验．全检恐怕工作负荷较大，一般都采用抽检．
上述中有很多问题需要回答，公司有没有OBA程序，怎样定义的，在哪里进行OBA，在入库前还是入库后，应该是OQC做此工作，不知道楼主公司是否已经实施，后面就开始问你的抽样标准了．

Usually OBA is done after packing, before transferred to W/H. For electronics products OBA is to simulate or to test out finished good using customer incoming test profile/customer defined test parameters. Sampling plan is relevant. However it is not neccessary to follow MIL STD. For simple startup you can use either MIL STD or ANSI Z1.4 as reference. Sampling rate or AQL level can be slightly tighten than customer's imcoming sampling level.

OBA is an abbreviation of open box audit or out of box audit. It happens when the products are shipped to customer. For other detail info, I do not talk and you can get the related info from network. Thanks for you reply. Then I want to know whether it exists OQC in your company. Can you have an introduction about the FQC, OQC, OBA and the difference, expecially OQC VS OBA? Thank you! Some months ago, one of our customers asked us to execute OBA. Because of some reason, we told customer that we executed OQC & OBA together. In fact, we just execute OQC. Because we think OQC is equal to OBA, then we do not pay more attention on it, and we need to open the boexs, inspect the cosmetic and test the function with the code and procedure customer offers . Now customer is to visit our company and obserce the process we do about OBA. How do we explain to customer?

Hi Scound1680,
Last inspection before packing is called FQC. For some reasons some companies called OQC. Station name is not a matter here. For electronics products this station perform functional test (using in-house developed test parameter,customer mode 100% check here, no sampling. You can consider OBA as customer's Pre-IQC where you are doing sampling check (include Visual Inspection) using customer's defined test parameter. Simple explanations, OQC/FQC=using in-house test parameter, OBA=customer defined test parameter
