三词辨意

孤鹜

defect error fault 经常在描述中用到这些词，有没有大虾帮忙分析下，三者的不同啊，在什么情况下该用哪个词？

defect: 缺陷，一般指零部件上的瑕疵和不良。在计算不合格率的时候经常用到这个词。

error: 误差，评理标准值的程度

fault: 故障。一般指产品在使用过程中，性能没能达到指定要求。

以上纯属个人理解。。还望高手指教。。

It refers to quality.
The radio was returned because of a defect.
